Setup

Update WSL
- In windows command prompt run: wsl --update
Add systemd to ubuntu

In ubuntu prompt run: sudo nano /etc/wsl.conf

ESP32 as Bluetooth Keyboard

With its built-in Bluetooth capabilities, the ESP32 can act as a Bluetooth keyboard. The below code is a minimal example of how to achieve it. It will generate the key strokes for a message whenever a button attached to the ESP32 is pressed.

For the example setup, a momentary button should be connected to pin 2 and to ground. Pin 2 will be configured as an input with pull-up.

In order to receive the message, add the ESP32 as a Bluetooth keyboard of your computer or mobile phone:

Go to your computers/phones settings
Ensure Bluetooth is turned on

Code is clean if it can be understood easily – by everyone on the team. Clean code can be read and enhanced by a developer other than its original author. With understandability comes readability, changeability, extensibility and maintainability.

How to get a shell on a GH runner

Getting a shell on a GH runner is pretty easy. First, create a linux VM in your favorite cloud provider. Be sure to allow inbound traffic on port 22 and 1337. SSH into that VM and execute the following command:

nc -nvlp 1337

Then run the following workflow in GH actions:

This gist, based in part on a gist by Brian Hartvigsen, allows you to export from Authy your TOTP tokens you have stored there.
Those can be "standard" 6-digits / 30 secs tokens, or Authy's own version, the 7-digits / 10 secs tokens.

iPhone means that an iPhone is basically required
iFacialMocap support means that tracking data can be received from the iFacialMocap iPhone app
VMC protocol means that the application can send and/or receive tracking data from other VMC protocol capable applications, allowing the combination of multiple tracking methods (e.g. VSeeFace receiving VR tracking from Virtual Motion Capture and iPhone/ARKit face tracking from Waidayo)
Tobii means that the Tobii eye tracker is supported
