In the last years I've been asked multiple times about the comparison between raylib and SDL libraries. Unfortunately, my experience with SDL was quite limited so I couldn't provide a good comparison. In the last two years I've learned about SDL and used it to teach at University so I feel that now I can provide a good comparison between both.

Hope it helps future users to better understand this two libraries internals and functionality.

Effective Modern CMake

Getting Started

For a brief user-level introduction to CMake, watch C++ Weekly, Episode 78, Intro to CMake by Jason Turner. LLVM’s CMake Primer provides a good high-level introduction to the CMake syntax. Go read it now.

After that, watch Mathieu Ropert’s CppCon 2017 talk Using Modern CMake Patterns to Enforce a Good Modular Design (slides). It provides a thorough explanation of what modern CMake is and why it is so much better than “old school” CMake. I wanted to install GIT-Lfs on my user account without access to server root account. I write this to my future self.

Download tar.gz file from git-lfs website.

2.Untar it
